Clarks Free Range Nitrate Free Middle Bacon is cured and sweetly smoked to enhance the pure pork flavor, which translates into rich, redolent taste. This delicious bacon is center cut with 2 lean streaks, and carefully crafted to assure superior texture and consistency. Cook a few strips up in a heavy pan, then use the drippings to fry your breakfast eggs!

The butcher short-dates their products so that they are consumed at their peak of flavour and freshness. They advise that their meat should outlast the best before date on the label by four days (at least) if kept in the fridge. Meat can also be frozen up to 3-4 months. Dates on packaging are best before dates, not expiry dates.
Be aware that all meat products are vacuum packed and release trapped gases when opened. You may notice a slightly sour odour that is perfectly normal and will dissipate after about 5 minutes in the open air.
