KoruKai SunArmour protects your skin from the sun. At the same time your skin is nourished and revitalised by the other natural ingredients.
Ingredients: water, zinc oxide (non-nano, uncoated), coconut oil*, raspberry seed oil*, jojoba oil*, emulsifier O**, shea butter*, microcare db, lemon verbena essential oil. *organic **ecovert approved emulsifier for organic skincare
SunArmour SPF 20-25 derived from the following ingredients:
- Zinc oxide 20%: SPF 20
- Coconut oil 5%: SPF 4-6
- Raspberry Seed Oil 2.5%: SPF 28-50
- Jojoba Oil 2.5%: SPF 4
- Shea Butter 5%: SPF 6
Active ingredient is natural zinc oxide: Zinc oxide is a powdered mineral that sits on top of the skin, scattering, reflecting and absorbing UVA & UVB rays. Zinc oxide is an effective and safe way to protect your skin from the sun's rays as it provides broad UV protection and is not absorbed into your body (unlike petroleum-based sunscreen chemicals). It sits on the top of your skin where it needs to be, effectively providing a layer of armour against damaging UV rays. We use non-nano, uncoated zinc oxide that does not get absorbed into the bloodstream causing damage to your organs or fish in the ocean.
Directions: Apply evenly onto clean and dry skin prior to sun exposure. Don't over-apply as your skin will be more white from the extra zinc oxide. It is effective straight away as the zinc oxide forms a protective layer on your skin. Avoid getting it onto clothes as the zinc oxide is hard to wipe or wash off. Reapply every 2-3 hours, also after swimming, exercise, excessive perspiration or towel drying.
Although zinc oxide is the safest and most effective natural sunscreen ingredient, the best protection from the sun is to seek shade between 11am and 3pm and cover up with clothes and a hat.
Please note that the packaging is recyclable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and should go into your recycling bin and NOT the rubbish bin.

KoruKai Herb Farm was established in 2013 after Cornelia Holten did an apprenticeship in Herbal Medicine. With a Certificate in Organic Horticulture, she was well equipped to grow high-quality herbs.All herbs are handpicked and carefully dried in a drying shed with solar-powered ventilators. The dried herbs are vibrant, green and look like freshly picked. They create flavourful teas and remedies that are highly potent and delicious.
KoruKai are passionate about permaculture and organics and strive to be self-sufficient on their block in Pigeon Bay.
Their daily work starts in the garden, making compost, organic seaweed and fish fertiliser, sowing seeds, planting and harvesting. They share their passion for gardening and nutrition with others through workshops held at KoruKai Herb Farm.
