Slightly salty with the perfect amount of squeak. This cheese is made using Oaklands whole milk, cultures and salt resulting in a creamy, cheese that will
hold its shape when heated. Try simply pan-fried or BBQ'd with a good squeeze of lemon or add to a vegetarian burger with grilled portobello mushrooms. 

The Little River Estate range is hand-made in small batches using Oaklands exceptionally creamy A2 cows’ milk. There are no preservatives, fillers, thickeners, stabilisers, sweeteners or other unnecessary additives.

Little River Estate

Owned by Sue & David Barrett, you could be forgiven for thinking Little River Estate cheese and dairy is produced in the small town of the same name on Banks Peninsula, Canterbury. But in fact, the Little River Estate brand calls Tasman home and its’ products are made in a dedicated factory on Neudorf Rd, Upper Moutere, the same facility that produces the multi-award-winning range of Thorvald Sheep Milk cheese and yoghurts.  The Little River Estate brand was born after repeated droughts caused the drying off and sale of the ewes supplying Thorvald with sheep milk.  The Little River Estate cow's milk range is hand-made in small batches using Oaklands exceptionally creamy A2 cows’ milk. There are no preservatives, fillers, thickeners, stabilisers, sweeteners or other unnecessary additives.

Refrigerate at 1-4 C. Consume within 7 days of opening.
