MooDew
MooDew Paneer starts on the lush green pastures of Southland, New Zealand. Our clear skies, ample sunshine, and kind microclimate nestled in behind the Takitimu Moutains and adjacent Longwood Hills gives our cows access to Vitamin D rich grass - the predominant feed for our herd of Kiwi Cross cows that produce the milk for MooDew Paneer. Our milk has a higher protein and fat content than the New Zealand average (as determined by Dairy NZ).The harvested, super fresh, raw milk (only a few hours old) is delivered to our food processing facility for manufacturing into MooDew Paneer that same day. Once vacuum packed, it has a shelf life of 3 months whilst refrigerated.
MooDew Paneer is unique in New Zealand with high traceability from paddock to product. Every kilo originates with the same cows, farm location, people, and made with non standardised, fresh raw milk. All the features of true Paneer are retained.
We are proud to say that, with every Kilo of MooDew Paneer sold, $1 goes towards supporting the work of Frank and Gladys Godberg and The Red Heart Project in their work with orphaned children in India.
