The Big Organic Veg Box is a veg only box, great for larger households. It is seasonal, organic,  local and easily feeds a family of 4 or 2-3 produce lovers.

Each box contains a healthy mix of 10-12 varieties of organic vegetables.

This local organic food box is curated with care each week to find the perfect balance of vegetables, greens, herbs and staples.

We work within the seasons yet try to avoid repetition. We like to delight you with interesting tastes that you may not know and introduce produce to you with special health benefits.

Buying mid-season is the secret to getting great value. But at the same time who doesn’t love new season potatoes? As we said, balance…

You’ll find “ugly” produce in your box too. Why pay more just because other people don’t see inner beauty... and taste... and nutrition?

There may be the odd occasion things don’t quite go to plan. No need to worry, If an item isn’t going to be available in time to pack your box, we will endeavour to find an excellent alternative for you. You won’t miss out!

Is all produce organic?

Not all of Ooooby’s small growers are certified organic. In fact, some of the best ones are purposely not. They may be uncertified organic, spray-free or regenerative and beyond organic. This is clearly labelled each week (above) and you are free to swap anything out you don’t want.

The difference is that we know our growers personally. We visit their farms. We work together as a team. We vouch for them.

How does Ooooby support its growers?

Ooooby farmers produce high quality nutrient-dense organic fruit and veggies and we support them by paying fair and fast. We don’t haggle to get the lowest price. We don’t delay payments for weeks or months just because we can.

We want our growers to do well and continually improve their farm. They invest in their soil and their production so you can invest in your health.

Is all produce from small growers?

Small farmers don’t grow everything. Carrots, broccoli, potatoes, onions and apples are good examples of produce that is too expensive to grow by hand.

When we buy produce from the big boys it’s because our little guys don’t have any – and we only buy certified organic, of course!
