Perpetual spinach isn’t actually spinach, but a type of chard. It is very similar to spinach, but has a slightly earthier taste.

Raymond Garb

Raymond’s aim is simple – to grow the healthiest, most delicious and nutritious organic veges he
can, while practicing sound environmental stewardship. This starts with balancing soil nutrients and
boosting soil life to create an environment where the veges can thrive!

The plan began in 1999 when Raymond first got involved in organic growing, helping other growers.
Then in 2008 Raymond started out with his own organic range, which now includes green beans,
silverbeet, perpetual spinach, kale, English spinach, rocket, beetroot, pumpkins and peas.

Raymond has supplied Ooooby in Christchurch since the early days, but he has
recently moved North and is now growing near Waiuku.

“I am excited to continue working with Ooooby from my new patch. I hope you enjoy my organic
