The Premium butter taste profile was created with the guidance of Ross McCallum, the founder of Kapiti Cheese. Ross subsequently introduced Lewis Road to Murray Seamark and Canary Foods – an independent, highly skilled operator recognised as a 2012 Exporter of the Year for their success in 20 overseas markets. Canary has the expertise to blend a selection of the best Export butters to a ‘recipe’ that betters anything else on the supermarket shelf. Packed in foil to keep out light and odours, our butter remains at its very best – all at a price that ensures it can be enjoyed every day.
Keep refrigerated and covered. Air exposure causes butter to go rancid. If you want to keep it soft for easy spreading, cut off a chunk and only store that in the cupboard and keep covered.
