Organic Lean Beef Mince
Clark's Organic Lean Beef Mince is lean not because we are following a dieting trend, but because it's made from pure chuck steak, plus cows that feed on fresh green pasture are naturally fit and healthy themselves... so you can be too!
Clark's butchers this to order fresh every week.
Vacuum packed and approximately 500g. Weight may vary slightly from week to week.
The butcher short-dates their products so that they are consumed at their peak of flavour and freshness. They advise that their meat should outlast the best before date on the label by four days (at least) if kept in the fridge. Meat can also be frozen up to 3-4 months. Dates on packaging are best before dates, not expiry dates.
Be aware that all meat products are vacuum packed and release trapped gases when opened. You may notice a slightly sour odour that perfectly is normal and will dissipate after about 5 minutes in the open air.

FYI - minced meat will spoil in less time than steak or roasts because it has a large surface area that is exposed to air. Vacuum packing meat eliminates oxidisation and keep meat fresh longer! This requires a plastic, unfortunately, but it also means less food waste!
